摘要: Measurements of full-scale avalanches are expensive and time con- suming, but indispensable to gain in-depth understanding the flow behavior avalanches. They needed crosscheck scaling used in small-scale experi- ments also form basis for developing calibrating numerical models. The recent partial upgrade NGI's Ryggfonn test-site is focused on processes occurring during interaction between a catching dam runout zone. These crucial efficiency this type avalanche mitigation measure, which has been focus several experiments years. But qualitatively quantitatively good observations from real cross- comparison rare.
