摘要: While RNA has traditionally been viewed as a mechanism to transfer genetic information, its importance and functionality only truly demonstrated in the past 20 years. One prime example of this significance can be found within microRNAs (miRNAs), which are involved regulation substantial number human genes. Consequently, these miRNAs represent novel target for therapeutic agents towards treatment variety diseases disorders. Specifically, misregulation miR-122 relevant cellular propagation Hepatitis C (HCV), thus modulators have effect on viral loads. This protocol describes development an assay discovery small molecule regulators miR-122, ultimately HCV therapeutics. Due excellent pharmacokinetic properties libraries, advantage over traditional antisense agents.
