摘要: To assess the risk factors associated with renal osteodystrophy, we examined database of 256 patients who were prospectively studied in three Toronto dialysis centers between October 1987 and 1989. The potential included age, sex, type duration dialysis, dose phosphate binders, vitamin D treatment, history diabetes mellitus, allograft failure, parathyroidectomy, bilateral nephrectomy. All had undergone a bone biopsy categorized into one four disease groupings: (1) osteitis fibrosa mixed disease, (2) aluminum (3) mild disorder, (4) aplastic disorder. mean (+/- SD) age at was 57 +/- 15 years, 62% men. Forty-five percent treated by hemodialysis 55% peritoneal dialysis. 4 years. Twenty-five also diabetic. most common disorder (or "adynamic") found 34% patients. Aluminum 27%, or 12% Cumulative intake gels whereas supraphysiologic calcium concentrations, ingestion carbonate, mellitus both These latter may be important predisposing to low turnover state through modulation parathyroid hormone secretion.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
