摘要: This chapter summarizes recent advances in video abstraction for fast content browsing, skimming, transmission, and retrieval of massive database which are demanded many system applications, such as web multimedia, mobile interactive TV, emerging 3D TV. Video summarization skimming aims to provide an abstract a long shortening the navigation browsing original video. The challenge is effectively extract certain while preserving essential messages In this chapter, preliminary on temporal structure analysis introduced, various schemes, using low-level features, motion descriptors Eigen-features, described, case studies two practical schemes presented with experimental results.
