Facade rainwater harvesting system

摘要: A rainwater harvesting system which utilises facade cladding instead of roof collection. The uses the structural ‘transoms’ or horizontal glazing members to direct falling on panels into vertical mullions, and from there downwards a basement collection as with more conventional harvesting. Embodiments are described including slotted enclosed system, lift out for cleaning, an open easier cleaning access. Both embodiments allow be collected before ground contamination occurs, making its filtration reuse within building easier. It also means that urban buildings can now seriously benefit reduce their water consumption in way only larger areas were able before.
