摘要: We demonstrated the new target for lodging resistance in rice (Oryza sativa L.) by analysis of physiological function a locus typhoon (lrt5) with near isogenic line under “Koshihikari” genetic background (tentatively named S1). The higher S1 was observed during September 2004 (28 days after heading), when most other plants became lodged. Visual observations showed that bending upper stems triggered typhoon; stem buckled completely, whereas remained straight. In addition to strong rain and winds typhoon, weight plant parts increased pressure on adjacent caused domino effect “Koshihikari”. Young’s modulus, an indicator rigidity culm, significantly than starch content 4.8 times value “Koshihikari”, senescence delayed leaves S1. These results suggest culm (as result leaves) may be responsible rice.
