摘要: Abstract The spectra of the radical species resulting from gamma irradiation poly(hydroxybutyrate) and its copolymers with hydroxyvalerate have been obtained after radiolysis at 77 303 K, corresponding radiation chemical yields calculated. Photobleaching annealing experiments allowed major to be identified their reactivities assessed. Radical anions, as well neutral radicals, were observed present but anions found decay radicals temperatures around 140K. Above about 250 K a multi-line component spectrum was lost, associated this spectral change has not unequivocally assigned, though it is believed chain scission. Annealing over temperature range 300–350 resulted in loss triplet, which accounts for most present. This triplet assigned located on carbon atom adjacent carbonyl group. exist two possible conformations. All decayed above 400 K.
