The kinetics of the reduction processes of PbO film in H2SO4—VI. Effects of PbSb alloy electrodes

摘要: Abstract The electrochemical behaviour of PbO film on PbSb electrodes has been studied by the scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction and technique. In cathodic potential sweep, easy transformation tetra-PbO → 3PbO · PbSO 4 H 2 O is caused many micropores produced in dissolution Sb, reduction peaks these three compunds are observed simultaneously linear sweep voltammograms. It found that rates their controlled diffusion OH − ion through anodic film. Also effects Sb basic lead sulfate layers discussed.
