摘要: Users of low data rate voice coders now demand good speaker recognition in addition to quality and intelligibility. Speaker recognizability was one the selection criteria for DoD Digital Voice Processor Consortium selecting a new standard 2400 bps algorithm. We have developed test based on same-different judgments pairs sentences spoken by 10 male female speakers. Preliminary experiments showed that sensitivity is similar currently used acceptability intelligibility tests. Male talkers produced somewhat different rank orderings, but averaging over males/females gave results "make sense" when compared with scores same coders. The these determined procedures were coder final process.
