摘要: This study examined the emission of greenhouse gases from municipal solid waste disposal centers in different regions Iran based on scenarios. Assuming landfill site opening 2012 and considering 20-year plan period for its usage, amount wastes entering was calculated 2012–2032. For calculating production methane (CH4) other during years project, Land-GEM IPCC model were used. We defined 9 scenarios these two models growth rate population generation. The results revealed that lowest gas nine by Land- GEM related to non-methane organic compounds (NMOCs). According obtained, total emissions sanitary landfills 2032 3,844,000 Mg/year, largest amounts Tehran region, 860,400 South Coast area country,138,200 respectively. major section both carbon dioxide emissions. difference studied due differences percentage moisture compounds.
