摘要: Metabolic profiles have been used in efforts to predict periparturient problems and fertility, diagnose metabolic disease, assess nutritional status. Results varied. Until knowledge technology provide improved blood constituent panels, the profile should not be first step diagnostic process. Rather, such follow an assessment of management practices evaluation diet. However, these may help confirm diagnosis, convince dairy farmers that changes are desirable, or monitor improvement herd animals. At this point, their major contribution has increase our understanding factors contributing concentrations, which, turn, led more efficient means diagnosis. Except cases gross mismanagement, do offer a "quick fix." In many reported which diagnosis was attributed profile, clinician able identify problem before conducted. Profiles recommended when cause existing is still identified resolved after complete evaluation. The aid identifying factor overlooked. for clinicians who interest upgrading involved, source knowledgeable advice.
