摘要: Disturbances such as storm events and bark beetle outbreaks can have a major influence on forest soil carbon (C) cycling. Both autotrophic heterotrophic respiration may be affected by the increase in tree mortality. We studied effect of 2010 followed an outbreak European spruce (Ips typographus L.) surface (respiration ground vegetation) at two Norway (Picea abies dominated sites southeastern Finland. Soil respiration, temperature, moisture were measured three types plots—living trees (undisturbed), storm-felled trees, standing dead killed I. typographus—during summer–autumn period for years (2015–2017). Measurements plots separated into detritus-covered (under trees) open-vegetated (on open areas) microsites. The total 2017 was its components using trenching. rates disturbed 64%–82% those living one site due to decrease but there no clear difference between other site, shifts either or respiration. related plot basal area (living all trees), well temperature moisture. As disturbances are predicted become more common future, their effects ecosystem C cycling CO2 fluxes will therefore increasingly important.
