摘要: The value of radiographic investigation peat cores for detecting deposited mineral particles on surfaces in the past is demonstrated. In small bogs this deposition often reflects sand erosion associated with human activity vicinity bog. technique provides important additional stratigraphic and environmental information. methods are described illustrated reference to investigations impact vegetation area Kosel, Schleswig-Holstein, Northern Germany. Results radiography measurements ash content compared anthropogenic indicators pollen record.
