Thermal and chemical behaviour of different glasses containing steel fly ash and their transformation into glass-ceramics

摘要: Abstract Chemically inert and different coloured glasses were prepared by inserting up to 10 wt.% steel plant fly ash into kinds of inorganic matrices. Three matrices tested: municipal incinerator grate ash, glass cullet a low cost CMAS devetrifiable glass. The experimental techniques used characterise both the starting heat treated (glass-ceramics) differential thermal analysis, durability release tests, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy colour analysis (CIELab method). results reached suggest possibility recover as material in glass-ceramic formulations colouring agent place pure iron oxide colourless base system.
