摘要: The reduction of oxygen at a variety solid electrodes was spatially imaged using fluorescence microscopy. Hydroxide produced during electrolysis converted the acid−base indicator, fluorescein, into its fluorescent form. Fluorescence intensity collected as function potential platinum, silver, and glassy carbon disk tracked faradaic current due to platinum electrodes. ability observe spatial variations in electron-transfer kinetics demonstrated bimetallic electrode prepared from silver platinum. imaging on electrodeposited revealed location size deposits.
