摘要: Abstract There has been considerable agitation in recent months about heavy metal pollution the Bristol Channel and Severn Estuary on land around Bristol. Concentrations of zinc, cadmium lead water, sediments, seaweeds shore animals are recorded from a number sites southern estuary. Contamination is detectable ninety miles downstream Avonmouth where highest concentrations these metals found.
