摘要: This work aims to assess the in vitro adhesion of two type strains Lactobacillus plantarum (ATCC 14917 and ATCC BAA-793) (now Lactiplantibacillus plantarum). The experiments were conducted both on colon cells lines (Caco-2 HT-29) vivo by adopting Galleria mellonella, a well-known alternative preclinical model. Data comparison obtained from assays showed that performance is comparable models. Moreover, strain BAA-793, originally isolated human saliva, enhanced performance, either low mucus-producing cell line (HT-29) or into G mellonella gut. These results suggest possible adaptation this its ecological niche compared 14917. preliminary pilot study, once again, reliability G. oral administration model as first-line screening tool for translation. Also, first time, permanence gut has been reported, reinforcing claim can be used, together with standardised procedures already accepted across community, evaluation investigation new probiotic potentials.
