摘要: As part of a series experiments on the photo-oxidation vinylporphyrins1, I have studied complexes protoporphyrin dimethyl ester with various transition metals. Non-fluorescent iron, nickel, cobalt, copper and silver underwent no alteration in their spectral chromatographic properties when they were irradiated benzene light 500 W lamp. Complexes lead dissociated more rapidly under this treatment than corresponding cadmium compounds. Zinc slowly photo-oxidized to brown unidentified compound.
