Preparation and Characterization of a Graphene Oxide Film Modified by the Covalent Attachment of Polysiloxane

摘要: Hybrid materials consisting of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and polycyclohexyl-methylsiloxane (PCHMS) grafted graphene oxide (GO) were obtained by condensation polymerization in toluene. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy indicates that the composites synthesized through formation Si-O bond. The X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy thermogravimetric indicate hydrolysis polycondensation can accelerate graft reaction. hybrid films prepared simple filtration dispersed system PDMS/GO/water, PCHMS/GO PCHMS/GO/water dimethylformamide. Tensile tests mechanical properties varied with their structure. rigid have a tensile strength 17.83 MPa, pliant PDMS/GO/water an elongation at break 3.14%. UV-Vis spectra GO hybrids addition polysiloxane caused red-shift (10–20 nm) absorption peak.
