摘要: The need to extend battery life in IoT devices, self-powered sensors and autonomous nodes increasingly highlights the necessity reduce energy consumption as much possible. One of main issues resolve is therefore reduction power electrical appliances while "standby" that represents a significant amount total dissipation. Today, despite concerted effort continuously standby consumption, this still far from being negligible. Since management components are permanently ON state, their efficiency must be carefully considered fact current trend constantly improve it with careful design at circuit level. In paper, novel strategy introduced based on kinetic-to-electrical transduction, which aims issue for all those applications involving vibrations. proposed solution goes beyond concept state itself, actually applies turned OFF. fact, an innovative technique will shown here where piezoelectric device specifically designed transducer, act special driving then turning device. Numerical analysis, laboratory characterization experimental results complete working prototype shown.
