摘要: Abstract A new technique, the instantaneous wavelet bicoherence (WB) is proposed and investigated. The use of locally averaged WB from vibration measurements for local damage detection in gears investigated first time; these bicoherences are better adapted than classical Fourier to case non-stationary signals. diagnostic feature based on integrated modulus a specific frequency range methodology estimation proposed. techniques applied multiple “like natural” pitting back-to-back industrial spur gearbox system natural gear at test rig show possibility early tooth faults. effectiveness evaluated by Fisher criterion estimated each angular position unpitted pitted cases.
