摘要: Objective To determine whether the use of a specific shape and navigating method microcatheters are suitable for placement at paraclinoid aneurysms. Methods The clinical data from 122 patients with 132 aneurysms that underwent endovascular treatments during 2.5-year period were retrospectively reviewed. Microcatheter shapes classified as "straight," "primary curves" (45, 90, J), "preshaped-C," "pigtail" (simple, right, left), "S" left, preshaped). methods antegrade/retrograde microcatheter shift, wire-steering, looping, coil/wire guiding. compared among 3 aneurysm groups, which categorized superior, medial, other, based on direction. Results Shapes significantly different between groups; most commonly engaged in superior group, medial other group was S (55%), pigtail (60%), primary (56%), respectively. straight used 5 (83%) 18 (86%) cases, respectively, whereas 50 cases group. Aside pigtail-simple shape, side pigtail, right vs coincided internal carotid artery involved every case not groups. Conclusion A by direction tends to be first trial shapes. Operators may reduce unnecessary struggling time intra-aneurysmal practicing shape.
