摘要: This paper presents a reliability based design study of multilayered composites for electromagnetic interference shielding applications. In this study, uncertainties in the and external variables affecting effectiveness (SE) are modeled on probability distributions. Monte Carlo simulation is employed at each point generated via Latin hypercube sampling approach to evaluate failure from limit state function. Subsequently, response surface approximation approximate terms variables. approximated polynomial used compute probabilistic constraint optimization. The problems so formulated solved using real-coded genetic algorithm. plane wave SE theory transmission line modeling multilayer shields arbitrary polarized incident direction adopted calculation. proposed illustrated through examples by considering military commercial requirements.
