STIMF: a smart traffic incident management framework

摘要: Non-recurrent congestion, which is mainly due to traffic incidents, may seriously impact the performance and operation of a system. Reacting quickly in uniform structured way vital. In particular, choosing appropriate response strategy with only short delay mitigate improve efficiency, increase safety transportation This paper proposes STIMF: smart incident management framework reduce burden on operators by assisting them selecting most when an occurs. STIMF includes two software systems: (a) simulation environment used evaluate strategies (b) fuzzy-logic inference system that allows operator get prompt recommendations best based current context conditions.
