摘要: The studies of Allen (2011) and et al. recently examined the methodology underpinning claims that dingoes provide net benefits to biodiversity by suppressing foxes cats. They found most have design flaws and/or observational methods preclude valid interpretations from data, describing current literature as ‘wild dogma’. In this short supplement, we briefly highlight roles implications wild dogma for dog management in Australia. We discuss nomenclature, influence unreliable science can on policy practice changes related apex predator management.
