摘要: Abstract Considerable proteolytic activity (casein degrading ability) occurs in the salivary glands of rat, mouse and hamster. The distribution this enzyme, however, is not same each three rodents. Protease highest submaxillary gland mouse, intermediate value lowest Conversely, parotid protease hamster, rat again has an value, exhibits little or no activity. Acute pilocarpine stimulation hamster produces a marked elevation but effect on tissue level enzyme gland.
