摘要: In recent years, concern about the destruction of tropical forests has led to increased interest in role international timber trade promoting deforestation tropics. At same time, concerted efforts by global institutions such as International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO), Food and Agriculture (FAO) United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Forests (IPF), are searching for ways improve providing incentives more sustainable, long-term management forests. This linkage between sustainable forest products was also enshrined Forest Principles Accord 1992 Conference Environment Development (UNCED) at Rio de Janeiro.
