摘要: After more than a decade of research, it is now well recognized that leucine unique amino acid not only serves as substrate for protein synthesis but also acts an anabolic agent to regulate synthesis. Leucine stimulates in number tissues its effectiveness promoting greatest skeletal muscle and less pronounced cardiac muscle. The molecular mechanism by which regulates has been generated primarily from vitro studies under strictly controlled conditions different cell types, recent vivo are revealing signaling components involved the leucine-induced stimulation physiological conditions. Although solid evidence demonstrated activating mechanistic target rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1), precise mTORC1 still clear. Moreover, whether leucine’s stimulating can be sustained long-term promote lean growth determined merits investigation.
