摘要: Objectives: To evaluate the perinatal results of premature deliveries with fetuses in breech presentation at labor and to compare by route delivery. Study design: Observational study consecutive cases singleton pregnancies fetus presenting breech, before 36+6 gestational weeks University Hospital Targu-Mures from 01.01.2000-31.12.2007. Crude mortality effect mode delivery – cesarean vs vaginal- weight were compared. All clinically relevant factors evaluated. Statistical methods included comparison frequencies two groups chi-square Fisher exact tests means two-sample t tests. Results: Of 2206 preterm 108 presented breech. The birth occured 65,7% (71 cases) while vaginal 34,2% (37) total number. Perinatal was 14,8% for 18,9% route, respectivelly. NICU admission 26,7% section versus 37,8% birth. Conclusions: poor outcomes are primarily related other than presentation. increased
