摘要: As the globalization of apparel industry has increased, many issues have emerged regarding management supply chains overseas. Significantly low contract prices, which are offered in an effort to remain competitive global trade, often lead labor exploitation. The California Transparency Supply Chains Act went into effect 2012 eradicate slavery and human trafficking from manufacturing retail companies. purpose this study was investigate current status implementation industry. A quantitative content analysis conducted analyze website disclosures 204 US-based companies, focusing on presence, type, length, accessibility, their disclosures. findings provide insights for manufacturers, retailers, marketers how they can publicize socially responsible efforts, particularly chains.
