摘要: Hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy for metastatic liver cancer has been used over 20 years. The reason that intraarterial not gained universal popularity the technical problems associated with such therapy. therapy was carried out by placement of angiographic catheters using percutaneous Seldinger technique. This required hospitalization patient each treatment cycle, 7–10 days, every 4–6 weeks. Oberfield et al. [1] reported significant complications in 48 patients at Lahey Clinic treated prolonged continuous and adenocarcinoma from colorectal primary. These included complete or partial thrombosis common hepatic artery celiac 18.6% 20.8% patients, respectively, 30% had dislodgement catheter. Bleeding controlled pressure, stenosis artery, pseudoaneurysms catheter breaking off an were also reported. Minor complications, as displacement catheter, occurred 43.8% cracked 31.3%, clotted 14.6%, infection 4.2%, diminished lost pulse 12.5%.
