摘要: We tested an appropriateness of indications tool for total hip joint replacement in patients with osteoarthritis. Criteria were developed using a modified Delphi panel judgment process. Ratings analyzed regarding level agreement among panelists. Another rated the same indications; results compared main panel. Test-retest was performed. Regression models used to assess contribution each algorithm variable. Appropriateness indication applied 84 and health-related quality-of-life improvement before 3 months following intervention. Main ratings those second resulted kappa statistic 0.77. 0.81. Patients considered appropriate candidates surgery, based on their composite scores, showed more quality life after than inappropriately by scores. The previous parameters acceptable evaluation tool.
