Evaluation of explicit criteria for total hip joint replacement.

摘要: We tested an appropriateness of indications tool for total hip joint replacement in patients with osteoarthritis. Criteria were developed using a modified Delphi panel judgment process. Ratings analyzed regarding level agreement among panelists. Another rated the same indications; results compared main panel. Test-retest was performed. Regression models used to assess contribution each algorithm variable. Appropriateness indication applied 84 and health-related quality-of-life improvement before 3 months following intervention.
