摘要: The efficient use of energy in wireless sensor networks is a critical issue as the nodes typically operate with limited power sources. Most consumption used for communication parts. MAC protocols directly control communications network; therefore, this paper we design an innovative contention-based protocol to provide long network lifetime. Our embeds some extra information wake up preamble frame and it also uses collision avoidance signaling handshaking. These ideas help stay at sleep mode much possible. This avoids major waste causes, such idle listening, overhearing, without compromising other performance measures like latency. simulation results analyses show that dynamic traffic load, ET-MAC achieves significant improvement energy-efficiency throughput, over well known B-MAC.
