摘要: Abstract A one-stage, low mortality, surgical procedure for complete intrapericardial denervation of the dog heart is described. Examination chronotropic, inotropic, and dromotropic influences autonomic cardiac nerves before after operation permits confirmation completeness denervation. If initial surgery residual responses remain, reexploration, further transection tissue, restimulation can be implemented until total accomplished. Attention focused upon characteristic shifts in P wave alterations T ECG during stimulation left sympathetics reflecting pacemaker repolarization changes. Application technique results a devoid direct or reflex neural chronic animal model without using pharmacologic depleting compounds with untoward side effects.
