摘要: Background: The literature suggests that the prevalence of atrial fibrillation (AF) may be lower in Asian countries than Western countries. Nevertheless, AF remains a significant public health problem region. burden AF, experiences previous trials and lack data on its management Asia Pacific highlight need for comprehensive prospective study management. Methods: REgistry Cardiac rhythm disORDers assessing control Atrial Fibrillation (RecordAF-AP) is prospective, observational survey recently diagnosed patients with 1-year follow-up 8 across Pacific. Eligible presenting treated or not, will included registry recorded prospectively during visits at 6 12 months. Results: RecordAF-AP recruit more 3000 patients. Study recruitment commenced April 2009 final results anticipated end 2011. Conclusions: assess real-life Pacific, including comparison clinical outcomes versus rate strategies, providing much needed insight into costs, treatment choices this
