摘要: In the 1990s, human embryonic stem cell research and mammalian cloning emerged as two of most controversial areas biomedical research, provoking complex social responses contestations over status embryo, reproductive rights obligations women, entitlements patient groups aging populations, commercialization biology. These developments placed unprecedented levels pressure on governments to formulate regulations that are able reconcile competing ethical concerns while also facilitating scientific innovation production therapies treat medical conditions associated with disability aging. This article will consider ways various science disciplines, particularly technology studies sociology, have responded this situation.
