摘要: Blastocystis was first reported as a harmless yeast found in human stool samples 1912. This organism has been classified into the subphylum Sporozoa and then reclassified Sarcodina based on morphological physiological characteristics. Molecular sequencing study SSU rRNA gene of isolate showed that is not monophyletic with yeasts (Saccharomyces), fungi (Neurospora), sarcodines (Naegleria, Acanthamoeba, Dictyostelium), or sporozoans (Sarcocystis Toxoplasma) partial sequence gene. Phylogenetic studies inferred entire guinea pig isolates revealed member stramenopiles. Furthermore, accumulation molecular data animal only extensive genetic diversity among from same hosts but also similarities were observed different hosts. Therefore, consensus terminology sp. recently proposed for mammalian avian including humans it classifies all nine subtypes. Recently, however, several additional novel subtypes have phylogenetic sequences genus may be most genetically polymorphic parasitizes wide range animals.
