Lewis base-catalyzed double nucleophilic substitution reaction of N-tosylaziridinofullerene with thioureas or guanidines

摘要: Abstract Lewis base-catalyzed double nucleophilic substitution reaction of N -tosylaziridinofullerene with thioureas or guanidines affords the fullerothiazolidin-2-imine fulleroimidazolidin-2-imine derivatives, respectively. In case unsymmetrical connecting an alkyl and aryl group on each nitrogen atom, transformation exhibits excellent chemoselectivity only substituted atom bonding to C 60 . The generated tri-4-methoxyphenyl reacts CS 2 smoothly generate di-4-methoxyphenyl fulleroimidazolidin-2-thione.
