Multiuser precoding for UWB sensor networks

摘要: We consider the downlink of an Ultra-Wideband (UWB) sensor network, i.e. communication from a central unit to many nodes. The key achieve low-complexity, low-power and low-cost nodes are non-coherent receivers. Conventionally, their detection performance strongly suffers inter-symbol interference due multipath, which substantially limits data rate or requires expensive receiver post-processing. To overcome this problem, we propose novel precoding scheme transmit several simultaneously. This way sum can be increased, while low complexity is maintained. Specifically, with generalized energy receivers transmission pulse position modulated data. First, optimization derived Signal-to-Interference-plus-Noise Ratio (SINR) expression for setup based on full channel state information. best network coverage, minimum SINR all maximized.
