摘要: A workpiece surface 30 is digitized by scanning it with the stylus 8 of a probe 5. Digitized coordinate data for many points P1-P6 on are subjected to filtering algorithm, in order remove redundant when relatively flat or planar. Top and bottom tolerance vectors TV0,BV0 defined, starting from first point P1 lying at given h above below second P2. Next, direct vector DV1 defined between third P3. If lies outside band TV0 BV0, then P2 deemed be required not filtered out. Otherwise, rejected. In this case, new TV1 BV1 now passing within From four TV0,TV1,BV0,BV1, pair TVn,BVn selected further iteration process, based upon which these closest DV1.
