SIZING AGENT FOR CARBON FIBER, CARBON FIBER TREATED THEREWITH AND COMPOSITE MATERIAL THEREFROM

摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sizing agent for carbon fibers that gives having excellent adhesion to the unsaturated matrix resin and flexural compression characteristics, treated with composite materials reinforced fibers. SOLUTION: This includes, as essential, components, (A) 70-95 wt.% of an urethane compound formed by reaction between alcohol isocyanate (B) 30-5 alkylene oxide adduct phenol selected from group consisting monocyclic phenols polycyclic phenols. The are characterized being 0.1-5 0.1-3 components insoluble in styrene solvent. Finally, material therefrom is used reinforcing material.
