摘要: Atherothrombosis is the major cause of mortality and morbidity in Western countries. Several clinical conditions are characterized by increased incidence cardiovascular events enhanced thromboxane (TX)-dependent platelet activation. Enhanced TX generation may be explained mechanisms relatively insensitive to aspirin. More potent drugs possibly overcoming aspirin efficacy desirable. Thromboxane synthase inhibitors (TXSI) receptor antagonists (TXRA) have potential prove more effective than due their different mechanism action along pathway TXA2. TXSI prevent conversion PGH2 TXA2, reducing TXA2 synthesis mainly platelets, whereas TXRA block downstream consequences receptors (TP)
