摘要: Rutin is a flavonoid with several pharmacological properties and it has been demonstrated that rutin can modulate glucose homeostasis. In skeletal muscle, an increase in intracellular calcium concentration may induce transporter-4 (GLUT-4) translocation consequent uptake. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect pathways on uptake as well involvement muscle. results show significantly stimulated through voltage-dependent channels mitogen-activated kinase (MEK) protein A (PKA) signaling pathways. Also, soleus muscle mediated by extracellular calcium-calmodulin-dependent II (CaMKII) activation. conclusion, stimulates rat muscles. Furthermore, involved DNA activation rutin. rutin-induced via CaMKII result GLUT-4 plasma membrane, characterizing insulin-independent pathway. These findings indicate potential drug candidate for diabetes therapy.
