摘要: Re-cycled tire treads are laminated into stacks and attached to a reinforcement element which has first portion provides increased compressive strength second torsional bending strength. Several embodiments with reinforcing elements ranging from T-bars, I-beams box beams, variations including corrugated flanges. Pre-drilled holes can be provided in the flanges facilitate insertion of spikes. While steel-belted tires preferred for use creating stacks, provisions made ensure electrical isolation two rails permit transmission data thereby. The railroad tie have electronic signaling hardware built-in by placing sensors related circuitry between adjacent plies stack.
