摘要: Chapter Summary The goal of regulation the maternal endometrial vasculature is to provide adequate blood supply for exchange nutrients with growing fetal-placental unit. Therefore, metabolic demand fetus needs be matched flow. Blood flow control determined by small arteries and arterioles dictated primarily arteriolar radius. Arteriolar radius can controlled neural, hormonal, local tissue derived factors. Very little known about microvasculature in pregnant uterus that will dictate placenta. We have developed a preparation using intravital microscopy which observed in vivo, connected vascular network under influence factors their natural environment. This allow us determine reactivity over different gestation days understand how match developing fetus.
