摘要: Termites are major emerging pests of cocoa in Africa. However, their dispersion models on trees as well sampling plans remain unclear. Moreover, the effect shade severity termite infestation is poorly known. We evaluated relation to management five agroforestry systems southern Cameroon with cover ranging from rustic full sun. The termites were analyzed using Taylor’s power law, Nachman model and Iwao’s method. then simulated optimal sizes for pest monitoring based parameters best-fitted Southwood’s Green’s formulas. Our results suggest that reduce belowground by encourage aboveground infestation; however, more severe. law was describe aggregative pattern trees. estimated suggested precise sampling, where less required, than sampling. This study pioneer patterns could be used researchers farmers decision making about pesticide application.
