摘要: Filopodia are actin-based structures composed of parallel bundles actin filaments and various actin-associated proteins, they play important roles in cell-cell signaling, guidance toward chemoattractants, adhesion to the extracellular matrix. Two mechanisms for formation filopodia have been suggested, each using different sets actin-regulating creating some controversy field. New molecules, unknown functions, also implicated filopodium formation, suggesting that other possible exist. We discuss established novel proteins mediate dynamics filopodia, functions distinct perform.
