SHORT-TERM AND LONG-TERM AGING BEHAVIOR OF RUBBER MODIFIED ASPHALT PAVING MIXTURE

摘要: Aging of asphalt has been an important subject area that received extensive studies in recent years. Test results short-term and long-term aging behavior crumb rubber modifier (CRM) modified paving materials are presented. Eighteen combinations CRM binders terms size, content, base cement grade were studied by Brookfield viscometer test dynamic shear rheometer test. The aged prepared using thin film oven Viscosity was measured at 350°F the thermosel after mixing 375°F for 2 hr. showed size percentage affected viscosity development binders: smaller higher 2-hr reaction 375°F.
