Facile synthesis of layered LiV3O8 hollow nanospheres as superior cathode materials for high-rate Li-ion batteries

摘要: Layered LiV3O8 porous and hollow nanospheres were synthesized via a facile solid-phase oxidization lithiation route with V2O3 as the precursor. When used cathode for Li-ion batteries, as-obtained showed high specific capacity of 324 mA h g−1 at current density 0.1 C, stable (250 after 50 cycles), excellent rate capability (124 5 C).
