New radiation resistant scintillator LFS-3 for electromagnetic calorimeters

摘要: The results of the study optical and luminescence characteristics new LFS-3 heavy scintillation crystals are presented. Advantages these in comparison with conventional scintillators discussed. radiation resistance is studied using an intense 60Co radioactive source a proton beam energy 155 MeV. No changes transmission after their irradiation dose 23 Mrad detected.
